Hilary Moore is a political educator and has written on the topics of anti-racism and social movements for more than fifteen years. Her work focuses on the far right, climate change, state structures, and systems of oppression, as well as liberal and left forms of resistance. She teaches with generative somatics and is the Director of Political Education at Showing Up for Racial Justice.

Hilary Moore is author of Beyond Policing: A Handbook for Community-led Solutions to the Violence of Policing in Western Europe (Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, 2022) and Burning Earth, Changing Europe: How the Racist Right Exploits the Climate Crisis–And What We Can Do About It (Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, 2020). She co-authored No Fascist USA! The John Brown Anti-Klan Committee and Lessons for Today’s Movements (City Lights/Open Media, 2020) and Organizing Cools the Planet: Tools and Reflections to Navigate the Climate Crisis (PM Press, 2011). Her work has appeared in Ms. Magazine, Public Eye, Three Way Fight, Waging Nonviolence, Convergence Magazine, and Teen Vogue, among others. She lives in Kentucky, USA.
